The challenge

Holmatro Rescue Tools needs an efficient way to monitor the availability and maintenance status of their tools in real time. In addition, instructors who provide training in the use of these tools want to have access to visualized data to enhance their lessons. Traditional methods are often slow, unclear, or simply unavailable. This can negatively impact the safety and efficiency of the tools. To provide users with better insight and control, Holmatro is working with Harborn on the development of wireless connectivity.

The solution

Together, we developed an IoT application that increases efficiency, optimizes tool usage, and detects early maintenance issues. The result: improved customer safety and cost savings. The app supports users in the field by providing real-time insights into tool and battery status through the Self Check feature, ensuring that rescue workers can always rely on their equipment. During training sessions, the app adds extra value by offering visual feedback in the form of graphs, helping users improve their performance.
