The challenge

Wiezewasjes has grown into a beloved jewelry brand with an impressive assortment of over 5000 products. As the company scaled rapidly and e-commerce became increasingly central, the original Shopify store could no longer meet customers’ high expectations. Visually and functionally outdated, the previous platform no longer reflected the brand experience Wiezewasjes aimed to offer. The need for improved usability, better product discoverability, and clearer connections between product families, enabling customers to easily create beautiful sets, called for a complete overhaul of the digital experience.

It was time for the next step: a future-proof Shopify Plus store focused on personalization, performance, and a refined brand experience. Based on a fresh design aligned with Wiezewasjes’ distinctive style, the initial setup of the Shopify framework was implemented. By leveraging a high-quality template and smart apps, many of the functional requirements were met right from the start.

With a physical store in The Hague, a shop-in-shop in Utrecht, and various resellers across the Netherlands, their collection continues to reach a growing audience. But it’s online where Wiezewasjes is seeing remarkable growth: with over 5000 products and thousands of monthly orders, the webshop has become the beating heart of their business. And Wiezewasjes is no longer limited to the Netherlands — their pieces now reach customers all over the world.

Integration with Squeezely

With the integration of Squeezely, Wiezewasjes now benefits from a powerful 360-degree customer profile. All relevant customer data, from CRM records to online behavior, is centralized in one place. By automatically mapping actions like previously viewed products and browsing behavior, the webshop can serve personalized recommendations. These go beyond behavior alone, incorporating factors such as zodiac signs and purchase history. The result? A personalized shopping experience that informs and inspires.

Searching becomes finding

User research clearly showed one key priority: products must be easy and intuitive to find. The navigation was therefore completely redesigned and optimized. Visitors can now discover products in multiple ways, whether through a general search bar, a smart selection guide, or even based on their zodiac sign. These varied paths meet a wide range of customer needs, making the shopping journey not only more effective but also more enjoyable. Usability tests confirmed it: customers are finding what they’re looking for faster and feel better supported throughout the process.

The design reflects their unique identity, with custom elements that strengthen the overall brand experience. On the backend, the store includes smart integrations with Shopify Plus, Squeezely, and a range of apps, all without compromising ease of use. Products and variants are easy to find, even for international visitors, and shoppers receive tailored product suggestions based on their personal profile.

Features like a product selection guide, multilingual support, and customer-generated Instagram content make the user experience complete. But the clearest proof of success?
